Brideside is an eCommerce platform specializing in women’s formalwear. They focus mainly on bridesmaids dresses, with a goal of making the dress selection process convenient, stress-free, and fun. But, they faced a challenge in communicating both their digital and in-home offerings to their customers in a compelling way. Brideside needed help evaluating their brand offerings and refining the overall user experience of their platform.
After discovering the most impactful way for Brideside to make a significant imprint on their market through user research and business model strategy, Tandem crafted a solution that rebalanced the various channels through which they engaged their customers.
Tandem redesigned the Brideside eCommerce site and created a custom service map to help discover how to add additional value to their overall shopping experience and existing business model. We helped shape the Brideside experience from search to purchase of a dress. Customers could look for dresses online, do their research, try on at home, and make final purchases all from a computer or one of the Brideside showrooms.
Tandem also built color and typography landscapes to further shape the Brideside brand. The new branding highlights the service model ease of use and wedding industry trends.
Since releasing the new website and branding, Brideside has experienced a significant lift in their “Try at Home” offering which has led to increased conversion and revenue.
