Sara McMullin

Sara McMullin discovered programming later in life. Before then, she worked in television production as a writer, editor, and even a small-town news reporter. However, her love of tech started at a young age. As the baby of the family, she found that asking for forgiveness rather than permission gave her ample opportunity to tinker with household electronics. The VCR was replaced many times. When she discovered programming, she saw a chance to mix her love of art and tech in perfect harmony and never looked back. Sara loves to work with teams on new and challenging projects to develop solutions catered to the user's needs. She contributes to The Inclusive Safety Project, a group of developers and designers dedicated to stopping tech-facilitated domestic violence and interpersonal abuse. She is also a published Children's Book Illustrator.
