How we collect it
Your information reaches us through three channels:

How we use your information
We use personal data to run our business and serve you well. Specifically:

We process your data based on one of these legal grounds: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate business interests (provided they don't override your rights), compliance with a legal obligation, or your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time by contacting us.
Sharing your information
We don't sell your personal data. Full stop.
We may share information with service providers who help us run our business, such as hosting providers, analytics tools, email platforms, and payment processors. These providers only access your data as needed to perform their services and are contractually required to protect it.
We may also share information if required by law, in response to a valid legal process, or in connection with a business transaction like a merger or acquisition. In that case, the acquiring entity would be bound by this privacy policy until they notify you otherwise.
Cookies
Our website uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. We don't set tracking or advertising cookies, so there's no cookie-consent banner to click through. If your browser blocks cookies, the site will still work normally.
Third-party links
Our site links to other websites we don't control, including social media profiles, third-party tools, and partner sites. We're not responsible for their privacy practices, so we encourage you to read their policies when you visit.
Data security
We've implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. Access to personal data is restricted to employees, contractors, and service providers who need it for legitimate business purposes, and all are bound by confidentiality obligations.
If we discover a data breach that affects your personal information, we'll notify you and any applicable regulators as required by law.
How long we keep your data
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it so it can't be linked back to you.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your personal data where there's no compelling reason for us to keep it.

Workplace harassment and discrimination
Made In Tandem maintains a strict policy against all forms of workplace harassment and discrimination. We require all employees to complete an annual workplace harassment prevention training course. Harassment of, or by, employees, vendors, visitors, customers, and clients is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
Sexual harassment
Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination and is illegal in all states. It's defined as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature when: (1) submission to such conduct is made either explicitly or implicitly a term or condition of employment; (2) submission to, or rejection of, such conduct is used as the basis for employment decisions; or (3) such conduct unreasonably interferes with an individual's work performance or creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment.
While no list can capture every act that constitutes sexual harassment, examples include:
- Unwelcome requests for sexual favors
- Lewd or derogatory comments, jokes, or memes
- Comments regarding sexual behavior or the body of another person
- Sexual innuendo and other vocal activity such as catcalls or whistles
- Obscene letters, notes, emails, invitations, photographs, cartoons, articles, or other written or pictorial materials of a sexual nature
- Repeated requests for dates after being informed that interest is unwelcome
- Retaliation against another person for refusing a sexual advance or reporting an incident of possible sexual harassment to the company or any government agency
- Offering or providing employment benefits such as promotions, favorable evaluations, or favorable assigned duties in exchange for sexual favors
- Any unwanted physical touching or assaults, or blocking or impeding movements
Other forms of harassment
Workplace harassment also includes verbal or physical conduct that insults or shows hostility toward an individual because of their age, race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation, and related medical conditions), disability, genetic information (including family medical history and characteristics), marital status, citizenship status, employment status, credit history, arrest and conviction history, crime victim status, order of protection status, veteran status, uniformed service member status, or any other status protected by federal, state, or local laws.
Examples of conduct that may constitute workplace harassment include:
- Disparaging or abusive words, phrases, slurs, negative stereotyping, or threatening, intimidating, or hostile acts related to any protected category
- Written or graphic material that insults, stereotypes, or shows hostility toward an individual or group because of a protected category, whether placed on walls, bulletin boards, email, voicemail, or circulated in the workplace
- Display of symbols, slogans, or items associated with hate or intolerance toward any group
