Tandemites share six core values. Our value of “open the door” means that we support racial justice. And our other values of “continuously improve” and “rise to the challenge” compel us to not only express our support, but to take action to help create a just world that is free of systemic racism.
For some time, our leadership team has been working to create an internal donation-matching program for Tandem employees. That program is not yet ready for launch, but the events of the last few weeks have made it clear that we need to act now.
Yesterday, Tandem made a $20,000 contribution, split among six organizations doing important work in our community and country:
These organizations were chosen in conversation with Tandem employees, and our contribution was split in proportions mirroring Tandemites’ personal contributions to these groups. This gesture serves as the beginning of a long-term, intentional investment in the causes that matter to us and to our communities.
